What happens when you get in touch with us?

01

First-off, you will speak with Kate, Joss or Ebony – you’ll be in great hands! Their job is to find out a little more about your situation so that we can work out if we are the best people to help. And if we are, they will arrange an appointment for you with one of our advisers.

02

We will then email you all the details you need for your appointment, including how to get ready and what information it would be helpful to bring/provide. We will also send you a text message with a link to our webpage which has more information including directions if your appointment is face-to-face.

03

If for any reason you can’t make your appointment, please do get in touch with us to let us know and we can rearrange it if necessary. If you don’t and you miss your appointment, it means someone else has had to go without.

04

Once you meet with your adviser, they will start the process of helping you deal with your situation.

Got Questions?

Here are a few of our most frequently asked questions from people we have helped.

Do you charge for your services?

We make no charges for our help.

Will you pay off my debts?

No, but we will help you to apply for any benefits or grants to which you may be entitled.

Do you work with all creditors?

Because we are regulated by the FCA and operate within established guidelines, we are able to work with all creditors – including councils, housing associations, utility companies, banks and the financial services industry in general – to agree a way forward.

Will working with your affect my credit score?

Being in debt has consequences, one of which is that your credit rating will be affected.

If you work with us and we agree a repayment schedule which differs from what you agreed when you took on a particular debt it is likely that your credit rating could deteriorate further. This may affect your ability to obtain credit or other services in the future.

We Welcome Everyone

Regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, disability or religion - we are here to help.

It is always your decision

We will advise you to take the course of action which our advisers think is best for you in your particular circumstances, but we will not make any decisions for you. At the end of the day it is your choice as to which course of action you take.
